To give staff a better overview of upcoming shifts and to avoid planning errors, LUSH Switzerland modernised its staff scheduling in all 21 stores.

They are one of the few shops that you can smell before you see them. The cosmetics brand LUSH has been captivating consumers all over the world for decades with its fresh, handmade cosmetics.   

The all-time favourite: their famous bath bombs, which are available in countless scents and colours. 

They have made LUSH a real success story. What began almost 25 years ago in a single shop in Dorset, England, has quickly spread to over 900 shops around the world - 21 of them in Switzerland.

The staff as the heart and soul 

The special thing about LUSH is not just the bath bombs, which can be found in small, creative stores in almost every major European city. The focus on staff also sets the retail chain apart. Because, as the company itself says, people are the heart and soul of LUSH Switzerland. 

This should also be reflected in the workforce management, which was not optimal.

"The previous workforce planning was confusing and prone to planning errors," recalls Dan Lehmann, Manager at LUSH (Switzerland) AG.

To change this, LUSH Switzerland decided to review and modernise its workforce processes in 2019. The choice fell on the workforce management software from tamigo
